Barlow Jeep School

Our acclaimed 4WD training courses help off-highway drivers achieve fundamental four-wheeling skills through hands-on experience, with the emphasis on safety, responsible 4-wheel drive practices, and ethical land use. Clients gain an awareness of the principles of 4×4 driving, and learn about the available resources for continuing to build skills and knowledge. This way, experience may be gained in a safe and fun manner, rather than by costly trial and error.

These are comprehensive off-road driving lessons, designed to provide education in all aspects of four-wheeling:

  • Safety
  • 4×4 driving techniques and vehicle dynamics
  • Recovery techniques
  • Trail etiquette & outdoor preparedness
  • Four-wheel drive route finding & navigation

Whether you are brand new to off-pavement driving or an experienced four-wheeler looking to hone your 4×4 driving skills with an expert on-hand, Barlow Adventures 4WD Training provides a step-by-step course for trail analysis and driving techniques. A good grasp of the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and traction principles benefits all levels of off-road drivers. Our clients spend the majority of the lesson time behind the wheel—we believe the most effective way to learn is by hands-on experience.
