400 - Train the Trainer

Identify and practice key skills to teach and lead others in 4wd recreation

Learn how to conduct 4wd training classes. Five-day course includes three days of training with seasoned 4wd trainers on HOW to train and two days of hands-on teaching actual students. This course is practical in-field training on how to present and conduct 4wd training classes for recreational drivers and clubs in the fundamentals of vehicle and equipment preparation, 4wd driving techniques and systems, trail ethics and etiquette, and basic recovery procedures in a variety of terrain and obstacle types. Learn how to engage people into a learning mindset, assess their comprehension and abilities, and work with the dynamics of a group. Be a part of the next generation leading responsible outdoor recreation.
