Location: Prairie City
Prairie City SVRA is situated at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, 20 miles east of downtown Sacramento and three miles south of U.S. 50. The area offers a variety of interesting terrain and trails including flat, open grasslands, rolling hills with native blue oak trees, and acres of cobbled mine tailings left after gold dredges combed ancient river beds in search of gold during the late 1800s. The 4x4 Area includes a constructed 4- wheel drive obstacle course, with obstacles range from very easy to extremely difficult.
Prairie City 4wd Training
Barlow Adventures is now offering our most popular 4wd courses at Prairie City where the challenging terrain makes it the perfect place to gear up for the Rubicon Trail. A Barlow’s certified trainer will guide you and provide tips and tricks to build your 4-wheeling skills on a variety of trails.
