Course topics include trip preparation, 4wd driving techniques, picking a line, and recovery procedures in a variety of terrain and obstacle types. Understand the systems and 4-wheeling capabilities of your vehicle. Learn how to read trails and analyze obstacles. Practice basic map, nav app, and compass skills. Suitable for the beginner to intermediate outdoor recreation-oriented driver who wants to use 4wd to explore and enjoy the desert backcountry responsibly.

Sunday, September 25: This optional third day will provide a fun day of practicing Rebelle Rally-style navigation, hunting checkpoints using only a map and compass, and a practice Enduro route to hone precision driving and road book skills.
