Treading lightly and protecting our natural resources when out on the trail is imperative to ensure that future generations continue to have access to public land that is open for recreational off-roading. AEV’s Tree Strap allows a winch cable to be safely anchored to a tree’s trunk when recovering a stuck vehicle without causing any permanent damage. Without using a Tree Strap, the steel cable or synthetic winch rope will heavily gouge a tree’s bark under the extreme forces that winching can generate—damage that can ultimately kill the tree. Using a Tree Strap displaces all that energy and preserves the tree.

The AEV Tree Strap is made of 3-inch wide polyester webbing with reinforced eyelets and safety rated to a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 24,000 lbs. with a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 6,000 lbs. AEV is dedicated to bringing more safety and continuity to the recovery gear that 4WD enthusiasts around the world rely on to get out of these potentially hazardous or life threatening situations and this is the only Tree Strap in the aftermarket that complies with industrial rigging standards.
