Description: Are you looking for an intro course on 4WD vehicle driving techniques or looking to advance your skills? This weekend consists of our 100 Explorers Course and 201 Intermediate 4WD Course. You can take both courses together (and get a discount) or take select ones individually. Outlined below are different options you can select:
1-day: 100 Explorers Course (Feb 1st)
1-day: 202 Intermediate 4WD Course (Feb 2nd)
2-days: 100 + 201 Courses (Feb 1-2)
Course Descriptions:
100 Explorers: This comprehensive hands-on course includes essential preparation, 4WD driving techniques, trail etiquette, and basic recovery procedures in various terrain and obstacle types. Learn how to read trails and analyze obstacles. Learn how to anticipate how your vehicle will react in different circumstances. Perfect for the outdoor recreation-oriented driver who wants to use their vehicle to explore and enjoy the backcountry responsibly.
201 Intermediate 4WD: This intermediate course includes graduated difficulty in 4WD driving techniques, trail etiquette, and recovery procedures in various terrain and obstacle types. Hone your ability to read trails and analyze obstacles. Anticipate how your vehicle is going to react in different and challenging circumstances. Perfect for taking your skills to the next level! Requires completion of the 100 Exploers Course.
Vehicle requirements: Stock 4x4s are welcome. A working spare tire and recovery points are required. Factory skid plates are okay. No low-hanging side steps or roof-top tents.
Course Requirements: Prerequisite: 100 Explorers Course or previous experience for the 201 Course. Register in advance. Participants must be 18 or older.
Course length: 6-7 hours each day
